Don’t miss the fur seals that lounge on the rocks at the break wall. The inlet is also the gateway to Montague Island, which is home to a historic lighthouse and a thriving seal population that you can even snorkel with.

If you're looking for a good hike to do in the region, look no further. Mount Dromedary is a prominent mountain located near Narooma, offering incredible views of the surrounding area. Also known as Gulaga, the mountain is considered sacred by the local Yuin people and plays an important role in their culture and mythology. Hiking to the summit is a 5 hour round trip. The well-marked trail leads through the wooded hillside to lush rainforest. From the top, hikers are rewarded with glimpses of the coast and the hinterland.
