Crowdy Bay National Park is located just an hour south of Port Macquarie and is known for its pristine wilderness and empty beaches.
One of the crown jewels of Crowdy Bay National Park is the Diamond Head Loop Track. This easy trail leads you on a journey through coastal bushland, revealing breathtaking views of the ocean, towering cliffs, and lush landscapes.
If you’re feely adventurous, try the drive up the beach to Dunbogen, here you can visit the townships of Camden Haven. Just remembers to get a permit for the dive.
If you’re going to say in the park, I can recommend the campsites at Kylies Beach and Diamond Head. Diamond Head Campground must be one of our favourites in the state. Nestled right along the beach and frequented by local wildlife it’s a great place to base yourself to visit this truly magnificent park.
